Shelby Merklinger

Shelby’s advice:  “Make mistakes—that’s the only way you’ll learn and grow.” 

We’re proud to recognize Shelby Merklinger, a Goliad High School graduate and a dedicated member of our Chick-fil-A Whispering Creek team for nearly two years. Shelby has loved being able to select classes that aligned with her future career goals in the medical field as she plans to attend Victoria College to begin her nursing journey.

Her favorite part about working at Chick-fil-A is the fast-paced environment, which she says helps prepare her for a future as an OB nurse.

Shelby has also been actively involved in our COWS for the Community volunteer program and was recently honored with the Chick-fil-A REMARKable Futures Scholarship—a testament to her dedication and leadership.

In her free time, Shelby enjoys gardening with her mom and learning more about cars from her dad.
